Titan Internet

Having used on the of the big named hosting companies to host websites for customers I could not beleive their poor level of service (a hard drive failure taking three weeks to find out the problem was the hard drive and then a couple of days to fix for example).

Then there is the lack of support, with the customer support representative (the person who answered the telephone) having to contact a level three support person and you had to wait until this third level support came back, which for long and more complex problems mean it could take weeks to get the problem resolved.

When looking for a new host I contacted a couple of hosts and asked them a number of questions to see the level of support they offered.

Titan Internet was the only ones that gave me the answers I needed straight away without the need to contact anyone else.

Having moved to Titan Internet I can say that there support is some of the best I have seen, in that what you are for just gets done, with out fuss, and questions are answered by people who know what they are talking about.

Finally you have the admission of mistakes and this being corrected.

Great service Titan Internet.

Made in Cornwall member

Fore Computers is very pleased to say that it is now a Made in Cornwall member.

What is Made in Cornwall, I could go into detail about what Made in Cornwall, which I will from now on refer to as MiC, being an approved origin scheme, but it would be better to have a look at the MiC website, which can be found here.

I have decided to become a MiC member as this will enable me to show that everything I do an create (as far as possible) is made and created in Cornwall, helping the community (both business and personal) where I live and work.

MiC members can, and are proud to be able to display the MiC logo which will be added to the site shortly.

At last a working website!

As many of the longest serving customers will know this is the first time Fore Computers have had anything other than a holding page as a website. It has only taken 10 years to get this far.

How long will it be before the full website is working, that would be telling and is going back to the coming soon.

Over the past 10 years a number of changes have happen to both Fore Computers and also the IT industry.

10 years ago clouds were white fluffy things, sometimes rain laden, in the sky. Now it is something that you can work from using services such as Google Docs and Office365, and even the Chromebook, almost everyone is on broadband and some are moving to fast broadband.

Where will this all end, ask me again in another 10 years, I hate trying to predict what will happen tomorrow let alone in 10 years time?

Fore Computers has gone from offering on-site support only, to developing websites, remote support, and to a lesser extent on-site support.

Some of the sites Fore Computers has provided the development for are:

Penstraze Business Centre (http://www.penstrazebusinesscentre.co.uk)

Just Water (http://www.justwater.biz)

Seton Self Storage (http://www.setonselfstorage.co.uk)

Optima Studio (http://www.optimastudio.co.uk)
